Policy AA23 Faculty Consultation with Students has been updated

The purpose of this policy is to students with access to faculty for out-of-class assistance to support student learning and success as stipulated in the Academic Employees Collective Agreement.


This policy and related procedures apply to all faculty at Algonquin College.


  1. The following updates have been made to the policy: Clarified the use of Algonquin College email addresses for email communications outside of the Learning Management System.
  2. Identified the program coordinator as the main contact in the event of no response from the faculty member.
  3. Other minor editorial changes.
